Also for the year 2026, the Laviosa Foundation confirms the multi-year Nature Camp at the bucolic setting of Laviosa Farm in Fauglia. The camp is intended for girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 12. A minibus will leave each day from Livorno (presumably in the parking area in front of Livorno’s Fortezza Vecchia), stopping at the Laviosa farm (Via da Vinci 21, Livorno) to arrive at the Fattoria. The camp will include sports activities (swimming and tennis with a professional instructor and necessary materials provided by the Farm), art activities with flowers and plants ( plant stencils, lavender art bags, flower diaries, etc.) and workshop activities. To register, you must respond to the registration form, below. The camp is pedagogically inspired by outdoor education and the workshop pedagogy of learning by doing. The educators are all teachers or experts in the field of education.
There are 15 places available. The other places are reserved for an association involving economically disadvantaged children and girls.
Lunch is packed, and each parent will arrange the morning snack and meal in their son/daughter’s backpack.
The Farm will provide afternoon snacks.
The camp will begin on Monday, June 29, 20026 and end on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Additional information about the camp, will be given to families at the end of registration.
Schedule of each typical day:
08:30 a.m.: bus departure from Livorno in the direction of Fauglia
09:00: arrival at the Farm and welcome
09:30-10:30: pool games
10:30 -11: 00: snack
11:00- 12:30: art-pedagogical workshop
12:30- 2:00 p.m.: lunch and free play
2:00- 3:00 p.m.: tennis lesson and art workshop x alternate groups
15:00 – 15: 30: snack
3:30- 4:00 p.m.: the diary of the day of “What I learned about myself and others”
4:00- 4:30 p.m.: return
