As per the call for entries for the 2019 edition of “Photography and the World of Work,” sponsored by the Carlo Laviosa Foundation and the City of Livorno, a good part of the photos on display at “I Granai di Villa Mimbelli” were exhibited in Paris.
All the participants in the final stage of the competition were present with their work in the Petite Gallerie Tour de Babel, the top five with three photos, the others with one.
The event took place in November, from Friday, Nov. 8 to Saturday, Nov. 16, which is during the period when Paris pays great tribute to photography with dozens of photo exhibitions revolving around “Paris Photo.”
La Petite Gallerie is located in the heart of the bustling Marais district, a few dozen meters from the Maison Européenne de la Photographie.
