Who we are

Training – Employment – Inclusion

These three words qualify the purpose of the work of the Laviosa Foundation, a third sector entity, which sees work as a way of relating to others, self-expression, autonomy, social redemption, and independence.
On the other hand, the absence of work and exclusion from the labor fabric are also a form of social exclusion.
For these reasons, the Foundation by promoting training, employment and inclusion with projects, scholarships, calls for proposals, virtuous networks in the territory and sustainability,
supports the development and growth of the person, always keeping in mind the relationships between
individual, work and society.

Mission

We believe that work is not only a constitutionally enshrined right, but also a way to affirm oneself by exercising emancipation, autonomy, relationships and freedom. Therefore, work is connected to the relationship of inclusion or exclusion that the individual feels with the community and society. From this perspective, training is a key element so that the freedom to be who we want and to truly choose who we are can take place with more social justice. And again from this perspective inclusion means addressing those social marginalities and frailties for which job foreclosure is closely linked to social exclusion.

Vision

As a third-sector entity, active in social promotion policies in the area, the vision that distinguishes the Foundation is one of listening to the needs of the users and the area, forecasting and anticipating needs, continuous research, co-designing and creating a social network.
To describe our vision in two images, we could use that of a planted seed and concentric circles that generates a stone dropped into water.
In these images there are projects that germinate and develop giving rise to change and the idea that everything that is done has resonances on the surrounding environment, which slowly expand.

Founding Values

We have many values that drive us, but the ones that set us apart are seven:

community
presence
proximity
social relationships
continuous learning
together
co-design

In fact, the Laviosa Foundation operates in a community logic, moving within a complex territoriality that pushes for continuous improvement and learning, but always seeking to build more that makes ties and relationships cohesive, whether institutional or social.
In this sense, the proximity of the Laviosa Foundation comes from listening to the needs of the community and being an institution close to the needs of the users. An entity that responds.
Therefore, proximity can only be expressed through active presence.
That is why our projects, are never self-referential, but co-designs with professionals, associations, businesses, entities that want to achieve the same end, but know that together, it is always better.
