The Laviosa Foundation, in collaboration with the Welfare Team and the Gender Equality Committee, has launched the “Laviosa Lights Up the Screen” project for the second year in a row in Livorno and Sardinia.
The project aims to use the language of film to raise awareness about gender issues.
In Livorno, we partnered with “Sguardi in Fortezza,” where we supported the film festival this year with two screenings.
The first screening took place on Monday, July 13, 2026, featuring Greta Scarano’s *La vita da grandi*, a film about sibling relationships and the role of caregivers. The film’s lead actor, Yuri Tuci, was also present in the theater.
The second screening took place on Monday, September 7, 2026, and featured a video interview with Sergio Rubini. The film “La stazione” sparked important and timely reflections on gender-based violence and women’s empowerment.
Roberto Carta’s film “Donne in miniera” was screened in Sardinia on Saturday, September 5, at the Rosas Museum in Narcao. The event was preceded by the opening of an exhibition featuring women’s work, which will be on view through September 12, 2026.
The project is part of the company’s cultural welfare program, and screenings for employees and their families are free.
