At Laviosa Farm in Fauglia, a Nature Camp was held from June 30 to July 11 for girls and boys aged 06 to 11. A unique and rare opportunity to spend a playful and educational time immersed in nature.
From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. children are involved in creative, sports and play activities. There are many activities: creative reading, preparation of scented bags with lavender, DIY with leaves and flowers, collection of natural elements and artwork compositions.
This year’s edition was enriched with the tennis experience: the children divided into two groups approached tennis with a professional teacher who gave a stimulating lesson every afternoon.
Once again this year, we involved the Strada Project Association, which is attentive to the needs of foreign children and children in socio-economic and cultural difficulties, doubling their number. In fact, there were 14 children who enjoyed the naturalistic setting of Laviosa Farm during the two weeks.
The nature camp thus supported more than 50 families by offering a pedagogical and educational summer camp completely free of charge for users.
In true Laviosa style, we have invested in the following values: inclusion, welcoming, socializing, respect, creativity, imagination and caring for ourselves, each other, our host environment and nature.
