Port and Maritime Robotics
May 19-20, Old Fortress, Livorno
On Sunday, May 19 and Monday, May 20, the Festival of Robotics was held at the Old Fortress, a science popularization event dedicated to people who are passionate and curious about the world of robotics, artificial intelligence and its implications in the maritime, logistics and port industries.
On May 19, a panel discussion entitled “Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Work: open dialogue between changes, opportunities and related risks” was held. The panel discussion was followed by the opening of a photography exhibition entitled “Images from the Future” by photographer Enzo Cei sponsored by the Laviosa Foundation, which ran throughout the Festival.

Popular and interactive presentations were held on May 20 by faculty and researchers from the University of Pisa and experts in the field. Exhibitions by companies and research laboratories were also scheduled. The University Pole “Logistics Systems” of theUniversity of Pisa was present with an information booth on university courses in logistics present in Livorno.
