Movie nights with Looks in the Fortress

In continuity with its values of equity, inclusion and respect for diversity, Laviosa chooses the language of cinema to give voice to women’s stories and fuel a shared reflection on equality and overcoming stereotypes.

The Foundation supports the summer festival “Glimpses in the Fortress,” curated by Artistic Director Marco Bruciati.
Three evenings, in the heart of the Old Fortress, with free admission for all employees of the Society.
The program opens on June 23 with “Romeo is Juliet,” continues on July 28 with “The Tree,” and concludes on August 11 with “Light.” Directors and actors will be present to introduce the screenings, offering a direct dialogue with the audience.
The festival offers an original and topical look at women’s narratives in contemporary Italian cinema, in which women are no longer just objects of the male gaze, but become active subjects of transformation.
