Screening of the docufilm ” Women in the mines” by Roberto Carta in Villaspeciosa.
In the picturesque San Platano park, the screening had a huge turnout to witness a filmic rendering of an anthropological and historical study on women diggers and women’s work in the mines.
An important opportunity to reflect on gender equality, enriched by the testimony of Patrizia Saias who told the audience about her experience as a woman in the mines. The project is part of the Foundation’s cultural welfare proposals, which choose cinema and reading as a powerful transformative and reflective medium. Gender equality is thus supported through visual and literary channels of sharing, exchange to foster personal growth.
