The year 2023 was a busy one, considering the fact that the Laviosa Foundation, redefined its mission, setting new goals and new ways of intervention. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The keyword TRAINING has been placed at the center, and all proposed projects revolve around this theme.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have joined the non-profit “Talent at Work” Foundation <\/span>https:\/\/www.iltalentoallopera.it\/<\/span><\/a> by supporting a <\/span>scholarship<\/b> of a talented young man enrolled at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in the Faculty of Engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another important agreement signed was with the Arpa Foundation of Pisa, in which  <\/span>https:\/\/fondazionearpa.it\/<\/span><\/a> the Foundation has made a three-year commitment to support shared activities.\nIn particular, we have sponsored the <\/span>training residencies <\/b>of two doctors from Peru to study robotics and attend the transplant department.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Livorno area, we supported at the Moletto di Ardenza, the <\/span>creation of ramps for people with motor disabilities<\/b> and to make it fully accessible to all.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still in the area of disability and equal opportunities, we have<\/span> repaired the engine for the school boat “Lighea”<\/b>, run by Assonautica, and carried out a dinghy outing with disabled children from the association <\/span>https:\/\/www.thisintegra.it\/<\/span><\/a> : a summer day trip to discover the coast and Meloria.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Sardinia, where one of our offices is located, we supported the Villaspeciosa Sports Association to <\/span>provide outfits for the children involved in the soccer team<\/b> and enable them to be able to participate in the championship.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We purchased books titled ” Once upon a time there was Don Lorenzo Milani” to donate to the Daughters of Marie Help of Christians and Holy Spirit School Pole to make children think about the importance of the right to education for all <\/span>through a contest<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer activities promoted to support families during the school break and to support children with educational initiatives were: <\/span>the summer sailing school<\/b> at the Circolo Nautico di Livorno and two green weeks, within the framework of the now historic <\/span>“Nature Camp.”<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation sponsored <\/span>3 scholarships<\/b> for young teenage students at <\/span>https:\/\/www.iscaschool.com\/<\/span><\/a> allowing them to spend two weeks in college, hosted by an indigenous family and have their first immersive English language experience.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another 2 under35 scholarships were designed to support the stay of two young girl artists, from Switzerland and Apulia, to participate in the Premio Rotonda city of Livorno.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the Foundation, within the activities it has been carrying out for years for prison realities, promoted the first edition of the <\/span>Gorgona Camp.<\/b> It was an opportunity for 15 students from all over Tuscany to participate in a three-day experience on the island engaged in training activities, raising awareness of the rehabilitative nature of punishment, enshrined in our Constitution, and upgrading together with inmates the shared spaces.\nWe painted together a common room, the barber shop, a game room, the mosque.\nWith prison staff and the warden, a round table discussion with students of exchange and sharing was organized.\nFind out here, more details <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
